question about the C5 coupe
Do C5 coups have removable tops? Or are they just like any other hardtop car?

Re: question about the C5 coupe
there are three body styles for the C5...
1. Coupe (all have removeable roof panel) 2. FRC (later to become the Z06 - no removeable roof panel) 3. Vert |

Re: question about the C5 coupe
As Mike said, three body styles.
The coupes (1997 - 2004) have a one piece body colored roof panel as standard, however, they could be order with an optional transparent roof panel (looks deep blue from inside, black from the outside) or both panels. You have the fixed "targa bar", body colored and the fixed but hinged rear window with body color frame. The convertible (1998 - 2004) is a manually operated top which stores below the "waterfall" body panel. The convertable has a hinged storage trunk. The FRC "Fixed Roof Coupe" (1999 - 2000) was offered as a lower cost entry level coupe. In 2001 it became the Z06 and was built until 2004. The FRCs and Z06s also had a hinged storage trunk. kent |
