replacing crank sensor '92 cutless ciera s 3.3

What does the harmonic balancer look like?
I found the crankshaft position sensor but cant pull it out...do I need to remover the lowest spindle to access it?

the harmonic balancer is on the end of the crank shaft.
It is round and heavy

Thier should be two screws/bolts holding on the sensor.
Should pop right off.

The bolt in the harmonic balancer is very hard to loosen. I have a breaker bar but wont loosen. Can I spray something to loosen it like WD40 (and can I spray it to get to where the threads grip?

IT is going to be tight, and you may need a pipe or something on that breaker bar.
The torq specs for that are 100ft lbs + 75 degrees.
Here is a link with some more torq specs.

You can use WD40 or what ever, but you do want to be carefull not to slip when you try and remove the bolt.
As the lubricant can make things slick, you can end up rounding off the bolt head, and thats not good.

I am not working on the car until the weather warms a little as it is soooooo cold here but I am worried about something:

1. I turned the harmonic balancer with the serpentine belt disconnected. Would that of thrown off my timing (will the block now not be aligned with the head)? And if so how do I properly retime the car?
