Does anybody know how to disconnect a factory installed alarm on a 1996 Ram 1500 5.9?
I recently had the trans rebuilt (3rd times a charm)
, and when I got it back, the alarm sensor goes off everytime I open the door when it is not running! It wasn't doing this before, haven't had the keypad in about 8 years, the alarm was bypassed. Now I can't shut the frickin' think off without disconnecting and reconnecting the battery every time
. I was quoted an $80 charge to take it completely out, would rather do it myself!
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated
