AM Radio Bad

Why is the AM side of KIA radio's so bad? Nothing but static during the day, a little better at night, but not much.

I ahve the same problem, I don't listen too much radio but when I do even my defunct 1990 Honda radio was five times better.

I think it's the Korean cars. My wife had an Elantra it was the exact same thing. Now we have an 04 Sedona and the AM is terrible. I need my Cubs games on the radio!!!
