remember me?
Don't know if any of the old guys are still around from a few years ago but...
It's Mike aka my3rdskyline. I'm no longer living in Japan and no longer have a skyline (for now). I've since gotten out of the air force and moved to San Diego. Got a great job working for Red Hat here. moppy, razor, oi, jcssaleen... you guys still hang out here? Just seeing what's up and I hope everyone is doing alright. My new ride in San Diego (just purchased this past weekend) is a 1974 Datsun 260Z (Nissan Fairlady S30). I plan on doing an RB26 swap in a few months. I got the car for $3000. I don't remember you, never saw or heard of you on these forums to be quite honest (been searching this place since '04, finally signed up in '06)...
But that doesn't matter, it's glad to see you came back... As far as for your new ride, I f**king love it man... The old Zs are really a joy to look at, for some reason I just love the car... Great buy to get it for only $3k too... I was looking around for some deals around my area, and sadly couldn't even find one... Not that I would buy it if I found it, because I don't have money it takes to invest into the car just to restore it to the shape I would want it to be in... I was just looking around for them to see what they go for... No such luck, though... Nonetheless, you got yourself a great car... Let us know how the engine swap plan works out for you, and if it actually happens... Would be great to see a RB26 in that baby, and if not - well, just try one of the LS engines or something... I may remember you, I think I remember your signature picture and if you haven't changed that Avatar since a year back then I remember you. If you have a Blue R32 and I believe a black one also or silver or something.
Welcome back dude. I think this forum basically moved somewhere else, not sure where it moved too since I left before it moved.

So I got a new Job in Okinawa Japan and I'm taking my 74 S30 back there with me :-) Moving in a few weeks.

I've been doing alright nothing much really just getting the Rx back in order. Downpipe, boost controller, Ecu ya know
