yea but i submitted the idea of the lowrider section and i was kinda hopin to become a mod of it cause i was the most interested in it

I really don't see what the big deal with becoming a Mod is. I have been a mod on another forum and ended up asking for that status to be removed because it is just a major pain in the ass.
If you don't like the way a thread is heading or what people have had to say then simply report that post to on of the existing moderators and let them handle it. Its soo much easier that way and lets you just enjoy your stay

still when you become a mod noone can talk shit(not that anyone does) you have alot more options for posts and generally everything.......i woukd like stay on this forum for hours if i became a mod..........

Seriously... Like Taz said, modding sucks.
When you're online checking your e-mail, you have to go check the forum, and when some massive postwhore invasion hits you get to spend your time deleting posts and banning people instead of sleeping. It gets to be a royal PITA after a while. As for having special options in posts, we really don't get anything awesome. We don't have any special other-worldly abilities to speak of. That's just my opinion. AF is still a great place, but mods are a)not something we need more of and b)not that fun of a "job" to have anyway.
