Help!!!!!!

My 97 aurora is been shaking after i washed the engine in a self car wash i put soap and rinse , when i turned it back it was working the same but later on the engine service light came on and the car is shaking and is not accelarating well. what do you think it might be?? please help me i need the car to go to work on monday and i don't have money right now to take it to a shop.

also some water when in the muffler and they also shake bad when the car is idle

I had a similar problem. My wires and coils were arching but it didn't star until a few minutes later and it got worse until I changed the wires and cleaned up around the coils.

yep i'm not washing my engine no more i'll leave that to professionals, by the way the little fix costed me $688 at pepboys but i love my car now all i need to do is get it to a body shop, because i need a new right side fender and a new front bumper. Do you think i should get it repaired at a bodu shop pr get those parts new??
