Unhappy Help! Car giving me problems...

I have a '95 Accord with a JDM H22A (reason i'm here) with a chipped p28 ecu. Swap was completed since Nov. of '06 and has been running fine. Then in sometime in late Jan or early Feb (I can't remember, but it was during a time that it got really cold) I started to encounter 2 problems. The first one is that I would be driving the car and it would shut off all of a sudden. The other problem is that when while I'm driving the car would begin to hesitate a little and the rpm needle drops all the way down to zero and back to where it was, but the car never shutting off. These problems don't occur often but and happen randomly, reasoning why I can't pin point what might be causing it. My mechanic said my motor is in tip top shape (besides a tiny leak from my distributor o ring which i will fix next week) and the ecu is fine. Can someone please help me out regarding this situation. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance and for your time.

Sounds like the same symptoms I had right before my distributor died. Replaced the dizzy and all was well. Is your ECU throwing any codes?

No codes at all. Someone told me to check the switch behind the key cylinder. Could this be a problem?

I guess it could be possible - I've never heard of that being a problem, but...

The problems you're having usually means a bad ignition control module in the dizzy.
