new truck and question about the mirror
Just picked up an '07 Classic and so far am in bliss. I was worried that the 5300 V8 wouldn't have the same grunt as my '96 Silverado with the 5.7, but so far am very impressed.
So what's with the goofy mirror buttons? Mine has the COMP/TEMP buttons but both appear to do the same thing, but even what THOSE do is confusing. Is there a way to turn the auto dimming off without forcing the Compass to go into CAL (calibrate) mode? rpg

I'm not sure if there is or not. I'm not sure if there is a way to turn off auto-dim, probably so, but not sure.
When all else fails, read the manual. That info has to be in there.
