97 Ex making a noise??????
I have a 97 ex and when im either leaving first gear or backing up i hear a noise that sounds like something is loose. Could it be a the heat shield maybe or...?????

HMMM...that's uh precise yup lol...what kind of noise, is it like a vibrating peace of metal like metal on metal?..is it when you shift gears as well? Is it coming from the engine or somewhere else on the car?

ok its like metal on metal vibrating but not inbetween gears only at low rpms or in reverse or comeing out of 1st gear.

Could be a heat shield. Jack it up and pull on stuff to see whats loose.
