1996 skylark a/c question

I just bought a 96 skylark and the a/c blows warm.I purchased two cans of R-134 and have the hose with a gauge showing freon status as low,ok,or overcharged.I have looked all over this car and cannot fiqure where to add it.I have done this many times before on other cars so it's nothing new to me but cannot locate correct port.I have one fitting right behind radiator that is too large for the hose I have and it has a red cap on it.And I have one that says evaporator service port that is to small for the hose i have .My hose has a quick coupling end on it but i'm having no luck. Thanks for any help,Roger

Re: 1996 skylark a/c question

The low pressure port to add refrigerant is probably located on the backside or vicinity of the compressor. Hard to see from above and you will need to look from underneath the car.

Here is a pic with the compressor removed (blue cap).
