Fuel Filter Leak

I recently changed the fuel filter on my 1990 Accord. I swtiched the copper washers on the banjo bolt, but there is still a slight leak, should I just tighten the hell out of it, or is that not gonna help?

Re: Fuel Filter Leak

Those banjo nuts are supposed to be really tight. You might remove the leaker and check the washer to see if it is damaged.

Re: Fuel Filter Leak

Yea, I tightened it last night tighter than I thought possible, after driving it around today I checked the bolt and there was no fuel on it.

The car is also driving noticably more efficiently, 1990's got 61k on it, but i'd bet the filter's never been changed.
