powerdyne?

I have a 95 z28 with about 118000 miles on it. I have put 3.73 gears,3" flowmaster cat back and mac headers on and im lookn for more hp. i was thinking about a powerdyne supercharger kit 4.5psi for $2600. i was just wondering if anyone has done this and how they like it. or if anyone has heard anything about this company. it says it comes with a fuel management unit and fuel pump so i shouldnt have to have it tuned, right? i realise my car has alot of miles for a supercharger but it still runs strong and doesnt burn oil so im hopn itll hold up for a while under 4.5psi. looking for some input/advice

Re: powerdyne?

I would avoid the Powerdyne.
The design doesn't work well. Other systems running the same boost will make more power.
Not sure what it is about the design as I haven't researched it myself.

Consider a cam and heads??? Would be more reliable power and almost as much power as that powerdyne.
I would also free up a little power with a better flowing catback. Flowmaster F-Body catbacks (4th gen) barely make anymore power than stock exhaust.

Re: powerdyne?

my first plan was that lt4 hot cam kit but ive read that its overrated and doesnt make that much power, i guess i can see that since the lt4 only makes 330 and the kit doesnt come with the heads and intake manifold. the only other kit ive seen is the lloyd elliot kits and they seem like a pretty good deal too. Have you heard anything about them? Are there any other kits out there for the lt1, I dont want to peice one together too bad cause i dont know enough to know what works well with what yet. Thanks for the help
