Traction control

Ok, ok, so I'm not all that computer edumacated. I am trying to find a forum on the 04 ls traction control. i am wanting to purchase the shift kit, but seems like my car wants to stall, or i have to force it to go when i stomp the gas. The traction control kicks in, and my car doesnt want to go. Will this affect the shift kit, or do i need to remove the traction control fuse/controller?
Thanks

Re: Traction control

If necessary, take your e-brake up one click. That will disable the traction control, or so Ive heard...

Re: Traction control

ya well i wouldnt advise doing that cuz on the 03+, or at least i think its just those years, if you pull up the parking brake even just a click and its in a drive gear, it starts to beep just as if u left the keys in the ingition and the door opens. its really annoying, so im just letting ya kno to think about it before u make any permanent decisions. it is useful when sneaking up on ppl though and u want to have ur drl's off.

Re: Traction control

the shift plus won't be affected by the traction control. All its doing is cutting fuel to the engine, its not shifting gears.
