Lumina '93 V6 3.1, 200K - Oil question
Can I still switch to synthetic oil or better not? Engin is leaking little bit now.

don't do it, switching to synthetic now would make the leaks worse.

I agree with not switching oils. My first car was a 1979 olds cutlass supreme, 305 4bbl. (Yes, factory with a chev. 305). It was my dad's car until I was 16, when it had 220,000 miles on it. He had it since brand new and NEVER put anything besides pennzoil in it. As much as people told me not to, pennzoil is junk, etc., I always kept with it, keeping in mind the same thing jeffcoslacker suggested. That engine had about 340,000 miles on it when I got rid of it, and still ran like a top. Everything except the camshaft original.
