Re: LS1 injectors in TPI???

You sure can. I have 2 TPI cars running LS1 injectors now. The only thing is that at 43.5psi those injectors are 25#/hr. But for me that isn't a problem since I burn my own custom chips

Yes! Especially if you are running the 400 sbc in your sig. You should already be running a custom chip with the 400 and cam.

In that case, no, you won't need to reprogram the ECM for the new injectors. In 1985 the Corvette used 24# injectors and the LS1's are 25#. not enough of a difference to affect it. Also, the 85 Vette used the 870 ECM, 1985 TPI's were the only ones to use the 870 along with the MAS module. The 870 is a very different ECM than the later ones (86-92 TPI), the programming isn't as easy as the later ones and there are things you can't do with them because a lot of the programming is hardwired onto the ECM's main board.
