Throttle by wire issue

Do any of y'all know if subie has a fix for the annoying "throttle stick" in the latest gen of impreza that allows the engine to rev for a sec after throttle is released. It is kinda drivin me nuts and reduces the smoothness of shifts while shifting from first to second at full go.

Re: Throttle by wire issue

Its not just me. I read that subaru programmed the '06 and after cars to do this (although, it apears that not all of them do this). I watched a video on Streetfire where a guy was shifting his STI a 6k and the thing would rev to redline on its own. I know how to drive BTW. I am a commercial truck driver. It's a little have to shift a truck without synchros unless you know a little about what you're doing. The problem is only noticeable when shifting from first to second after being at full throttle. Only car I have ever owned that has done it. I will find that vid on streetfire......

Here it is:http://videos.streetfire.net/categor...7600dadb5f.htm

This one is even worse than mine. That last shift was awful. Trust me its not him, I have to shift mine by 5500 or it just revs to high when I push the clutch in.
