Re: carpet

I don't know how the others do it but I use fine foam that's used for model railways. It looks very good. Just take a strip of plastic, cover it with some model glue and then put on the foam. Put it under a press and next day take it out, cut it in shape and attach it. Simple. But I don't guarantee that it works every time.

Oh, sorry I wasn't clear enough. Thin plastic, like paper.

Re: carpet

Well... it's hard to explain. I don't know the right word but it's... well, it's the same plastic that the model car boxes have. The windows on the boxes.

Re: carpet

I was thinking about the tut used for the ceiling and apply it the same way for the floor. It looks easy enough...

Yes it did work quite well, i was too lazy to do the sifting and picking apart so it is a little clumpy, and i didn't use a hair dryer so there are still little bits in the carpet that are loose. Don't really feel like posting picks, sorry. I may in the future when i do some more of this for the headliner. (so far i did floor in cabin, rear shelf, and trunk.)
