Automatic Wipers
Is there a way to get the wipers to stop swiping when I start the car? I keep them on automatic and I guess this is a way to let you know they are on auto. When I start the car the wipers give one swipe. When it is dry out is can be very annoying and I found out the hard way that if there is snow on the car and the drivers door is open it dumps tons of snow in the drivers seat.

Re: Automatic Wipers
I suspect the swipe at power on is a function of the electronics rather than to serve as a reminder that they are on. There's not a good way to prevent this other than to turn the auto wipers off if they are not needed. If you continue to let the wipers dump a ton of snow, it won't be long and you'll be replacing the wiper motor/gear box.
