5.3 SMALL Vacuum Leak
2000 Yukon XL with 5.3. Service Engine Soon light is on. Code says "Small Vacuum Leak" Any tips on finding it. Mechanic smoked it and found nothing. Is there someplace that commonly has this "small" leak or am I off on an expedition (oops, don't mean to use bad words here)?
State won't renew license until code is clear. thanks for any tips. |

Re: 5.3 SMALL Vacuum Leak
I have seen a mechanic spray carborator cleaner around the hoses and monitor the RPM. Try it with care.
