Re: Help Quick!!!

You're alternator or voltage regulator is not operating properly.

The car's 12 volt system normally runs ~high12V/low13V; The alternator output must overcome that potential to charge the battery.

First check all related connections for corrosion and clean as necessary..
Batt. terminals, Batt. ground connections, alt. ground connections, starter switch studs.

Inspect all related cables for wear and corrosion, if in doubt then replace it.

Test system operating voltage again and compare results to your baseline.

If that doesn't help then I would renew the whole starting/charging system with reman. alternator, new battery, clean all connections and replace cables.

---My guess on the poor run codition based on your information is that your ignition system isn't provided sufficient voltage to operate efficiently. Possibly leading to multiple misfires and weak spark.

Get your electrical system up to snuff then go from there.
