My daughter has an 83 XJ 2wd that was hit in the rear about 2 months ago. Ever since the wreck the parking lights will stay on even with the headlight switch off. It was doing this intermittently at first but last night I couldn't get them off by pulling the maxi fuse under the hood or by unplugging the headlight switch! I finally had to disconnect the battery.
Any ideas??

Re: Parking Lights
Short in the system somewhere; I'm not the electronics guy, but you'll probably need to get a meter and check voltages in the system, to see where the power is coming from.

83???
The XJ was built as an 84MY and designated as such. You probably have a pinched wire. Go here for wiring diagrams: http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...3d80153e8f.jsp |
