my photo coverage (and experience:)) on 10R
yesterday I had the day of my life. I went to Paris especially to see 10R.
I explained this to the british guy (sadly I don't have his name). I said I travel (literally) whole Europe (and maybe soon the whole world He was very nice and enthusiastic that I was such a big fan and was glad to do this for me. He even unscrewed ALL body panels for me! Wow that gold was awesome! Then he took my hand and said I'd take a seat That was an awesome experience. I think I have the closest of every visitor to this car Took loads of pics. Here its me sitting in 10R ![]() and some first pics: |

Well done Patrick,
Nice to see you got up close and personal to 10R. Very rare chance to sit in a GTR that has never raced!! An experience to be treasured. |

Re: my photo coverage (and experience:)) on 10R
Well done Patrick, some very good detail shots of the cockpit area. 10R must be getting close to 16R and 18R for being the most photographed GTR.
Just need our Mr Bridger to give me a rundown on what everything does lol not that most of it will be needed in day to day running. Makes me even more determined that I NEED to get one lol. |

Re: my photo coverage (and experience:)) on 10R
Nice to finally find out what is under the front cover in place of the Hi-Fi system. I assume they are ducts to the front brakes, yet I thought they were fed from the two vertical narrow intakes in the front apron?
Great detail pics matey. |

Re: my photo coverage (and experience:)) on 10R
And here was this idiot (me) thinking he may actually find space to store a toilet bag lol. Hmm 750 mile trip with nowhere to put ANYTHING? Cant even use the passenger seat as you need it to get in and out.
Incidentally can anyone post the diagrams showing the recomended method of entry and departure from the throne? |

Re: my photo coverage (and experience:)) on 10R
Yes I have those as well, mind he does seem quite a big bloke so I should have less of a struggle being only 5ft 4in and 11 stone.
Patrick was the passenger seat really uncomfortable with the roll cage upright in the way? I'm told it would be terrible for a passenger to put the roll cage back in. Your thoughts would be much appreciated. |

Re: my photo coverage (and experience:)) on 10R
of course, who can forget the 'Arse in first minding the handbrake' method a la Needell
- remember, always get in from the left hand side unless you want the gear knob somewhere thats only meant for things to come out of!!!
