Geo prizm rumbling
I have a 93 geo prizm and when i am stopped and start to accelerate the car will shake and rumble really bad, and you have to go really slow until you get to 20 mph for it not to do that... the mechanic said i need a new front axle, can someone tell me about how much that would cost.

First you might want to try looking at your tires makin sure it doesn't have a broken belt on one of them. It happened to my daughters Geo. If you need a new axle..you might as well sell it for parts nd buy a new car...
