Confused As Hell
So my clutch started acting up a couple weeks ago in my 2000 Civic. It was really soft, no pressure at all till the very bottom. Sometimes it wouldn't go into gear! wtf.. The brake fluid was empty. I filled it up with dot 3 break fluid like it said on the cap. Hasn't leaked a bit. I noticed the slave cylinder has been leaking fluid and making a creaky noise. So i assumed it was the slave cylinder that needed to be replaced. The day i bought the slave cylinder the clutch was fine. went into gear and everything. Has anyone experienced this before? im still gonna replace the slave cylinder cause that creak is annoying as fuck and its leaking fluid.

Re: Confused As Hell
a defective clutch master cylinder can act up only once in a while and the next day be ok....but it still needs to be replaced!!
