History: Bought 1987 Lincoln TC in mint condition, garaged stored and 17,500 original miles. I knew owner and the car, when it wouldn't start one day, she just bought another one and let me buy this for $600.

Anyway, the car will turn over but not start. First I traced the problem to the fuel pump (tested it) and it didn't work, so I replaced the fuel pump. Again, the car would turn over but not start.

Then: By energizing the gas pump with a separate wire, the pump will come on and pressurize the fuel rail, but car will not start.

If I ground the fuel relay wire at the diagnostic plug, the car will start and run.

What grounds the relay in the system? If we do it manually, the car will run but wil not run if not grounded. Could it possibly be a defective oil switch controlling the fuel injectors and pump? Or, coculd it be a defective power or EEC module?

My schematics shows circuit to fuel pump one side, the ground side is not shown!

Lastly, where/how do I change keyless entry pad on driver's door. The lady who owned car died 2 months ago and didn't keep this only piece of information!
