p1408 on 98 expedition. HELP!!!

i have a 98 expedition 5.4L 4wd. i already changed the egr, dpfe sensor and check all the vacuum lines even under the battery and everything looks good. keep getting a p1408 code from my snap-on scanner.. what else can i do b4 i run this pig off a cliff. thanks, mike
