cold air intake

i need to know if it would boost my horse power to put cold air intake on my truck i live in florida and its not usually cold down here i didnt know if that makes a difference or not and how much more horse approx. can i get out of it

it will work... your engine is trying to pull air in. if you can make it easier and less restrictive, your engine will devote more of its power to the crank, rather than the induction process
