Re: Looking for mods

i'm sure you are aware but the 2.3 never came out untill '05 in '03 there were only 2 engines an both were 2l one (spi) was 8 valve the other (Zetec) was a DOHC 16 valve of which i will assume is the one that you have, fro my experince the best site that i have found for Focus mods (including the 2.3 if you did a swap) is www.focussport.com as they have everything you could want, you may want some suspension, i know i would like a set of stiffer sway bars in my car or a set of light wheels and grippy tires, but best of all i would suggest going to a racing school, it'll be the best way to shave time off at the race track or auto x

Re: Looking for mods

also with the stage 2 kit you'll need a new clutch very shortly, and while your in there do the flywheel, and possibly stiffer engine mounts

Re: Looking for mods

Well i assume you want to chage the final drive ratio? i wouldn't advise it, it would better your acceleration times, but then your car will be reving higher on the highway/freeway all the time so unless your car is a track car i would advise leaving that alone, a Limited Slip diff would be a great addition with the 200 odd hp you are puttiong out (assuming you have the same Cosworth upgrade as the one on focussport) help you out of the corners and put a stop to those peg leg burnouts, i would say a helical type, but thats my personal prefrence. any other questions, feel free to ask

Re: Looking for mods

well you could get a cheaper kit somewhere, but i would really reccoment that comapny i have nothing but good stuff to say about them, they really know what they are doing, i would simply reccomend saving a bit longer and getting the good parts, sometimes it's worth it
