|
need help on rev limter not speed limiter??????????
i recently bought a 1995 240sx se and for some reason i can rev higher than 5200rpm. It limits me there but my rpm gauge says that it redlines at 6.9 why cant i go past 5200rpms. My car is completley stock so can someone plz help me out.

what gear is it limiting you at 5200rpm, i hope your not talking about 5th gear.
If anything else check your ecu codes, you might be running in safe mode which takes the rev limiter down. try reseting the ecu codes and go from there.

look up ecu resetting and you might want to check your ecu for codes...look up ecu codes (dohc or sohc, depending on your motor)
