stuck in 4lo big time

alright we got some snow the other day in ct and i couldnt get up my friends drive way so i pushed 4hi nothing happend...put in neutral and hit 4lo it didnt go in but it kept clunkin like say something wasnt lining up. after bout 15 tryes it pops in. when i go to leave it wouldnt get out of 4lo and when i put it in neutral the 4hi button flashes along with a clcikin in the glove box with car on or off and in any gear

there is a trick to getting it out of 4lo i think you need to hold it and push another button but you need to do it with the engine off.....im not sure if that is correct but it involves more then just pushing a button cause i had the same problem at 1 point on my jimmy before i sold it

ok last night i disconnected the battery to reset it, now all 3 of the lights flash and wont even go in 4lo its like at 5000 rpms it does 5miles and hr but when it would clunk into 4lo it acted as 4hi anyway nothing clicks or sounds anymore just all flash and wont get out of 4lo

Try backing up and putting the transmission in neutral.
Also run a search here on 4 Wheel problems.
What is the no /type of transfer case on tag on the back of your transfer case?
