Unhappy stuck door

Hi, I'm a new owner of an '89 Taurus, and the rear door is stuck. No matter what I do, it won't open. I know it isn't the cold, it's almost spring. It's pretty frustrating, I drive 2 kids around all day and they both need to get in the same door

If anyone has any suggestions (the cheaper the better ) I am open!! TIA

Re: stuck door

Welcome to the forum!

Does the door work from the inside door handle or from the outside door handle, or it won't open at all, regardless of which door handle is used?

Does it feel like the handle is connected to anything, or do you only feel moderately light spring tension and nothing else?

Re: stuck door

I haven't paid much attention to whether or not it's attached to anything, but I'll check again tomorrow..

It doesn't open from the inside or outside, I've tried several times..
