Badfuel injecetor pump?

Hey i have a '97 chevy 2500 6.0 duramax diesel and im not sure if it has a bad fuel injectors or a bad fuel injector pump or if its even that. It just dies when im driving it. Somedays it is fine but most days it dies. The symptoms are dying at stop lights/signs and sometimes when im already up to speed. There was a post on here about a ford focus doing the same thing and they said it was the fuel injector pump. Im not sure at all any help would be appreciated.

I hope you replace the fuel filter every 10 k that is a start , but shurely i hope you have done that first

i have seen that on engin generators and sometimes fine air leaks in the lines that causes alot of problems
