aftermarket gauge... ????

i recently installed an oil pressure gauge and now i need to get the gauge to light up... i can use as much help as possible, i tried almost every to get the gauge to light but still nothing.. so if you have any idea's please help... thx..

Splice or tap into the headlight switch so that it turns on when you turn the lights on.

how do get into the headlight switch, without breaking anything....
is there screws i have to remove to get into the headlight switch?

Remove the panel below it. 3 screws on the bottom and one on the left, then you have easy access to the headlight switch.
