Navy Blue 1995 turbo diesel. Had it since new and it hasnt been cheap to keep on the road. I used to blame my husband for everything that went wrong with it but have learned since that, the year and that diesel engine was never a good one. Pretty much everything has been replaced (trans, inject, heads), I fear everyday that something big will go again. I think the turbo is hooped smokes on every hill, it's got some wierd viberating noise coming and going. Could be a viberating exhaust pipe. Geesh at a drive through the other day I actually heard the odd tink tink noise coming from the engine. Then that disappeared thank gawd. Heater fan chirps on low. No autowreckers ever have em, has me wondering where they are all at. The car wash tore off my rear wind visor scoop thing, hit a bird and my bug guard flew off. Still looks great though I suppose, no rust, almost perfect interior which was tough with three kids. My favorite diesel guy says cant fix it until it tells us whats broke, feeling like I'm to drive it till it dies now. How long will it go without the turbo? Wish I could find some buyer who just happens to be a diesel mech. No dents, no sratches, stereo still kicks, fully loaded, everything else still works. Will get you anywhere you want to go in any weather safely. What is it worth Canadian $$? Does the average guy know about the problems with these diesels and I wont find an easy buyer? Or should I drive it till it dies, perhaps it's not that far gone?? Or am I dreaming and it's just about hooped?? Husband has been trying to get rid of it for years, but I'm attached. Drop a tear or two and it's in the shop everytime.
