My 89 Skyline keeps quitting on me while i'm driving. The gas gauge reads like I have plenty of gas, and the car does seem to run better after i've put a full tank of gas in it. Unfortunately, 2 days later, it starts the same thing again. I've put fuel injector cleaner in but it doesn't help. I've also put octane boost in as well, which seems to help for a while. My dad the mechanic seems to think that it's something in the gas tank, but as he's in a different country, i'm not really sure if that's it. Can anyone make any suggestions or help me in anyway? I'm on the verge of taking a sledge hammer to this stupid car at this point!
Thanks so much!! Gena

You may want to have the Air Flow Meter checked. Sounds like the same problem I had with mine a while back.
It's a known problem with skylines, so it would be a good idea to have yours refurbished or get a refurbished one.
