How to program a keyless remote

You can go to the link below and it will tell you how to program a keyless remote, i did it with mine and it worked fine although i can only get one remote to work and i have 2. If you figure out how to get both keyless remotes programmed let me know.
Thanks

Added later:

If you have 2 remotes once you program one remote you have to go through the same steps with the second remote within 1 minute for them both to work. I ordered the second remote off ebay for $15.00, instead of paying the dealership $135.00, and both of mine work fine now.

2002 Montero Real Program Instructions

After searching I found the correct way to program a new or additional key for my Montero. All you have to do is insert your key into the ignition but leave your key off. Insert a jumper wire between Pin 1 and Pin 4 on your DLC. Pin1 is farthest left on the larger side of the DLC. The DlC is mounted under the driver side dash pointing straight down. Once you have the pins shorted immediatly press your hazard switch on and off six times. Your locks will then unlock then lock. Press the lock button on your new remote three times in one minute and thats all it takes. You can follow the same procedure again if you have more than one remote. I currently have three remotes programmed.

Re: programming a keyless remote

I still have not had any luck programming this remote for my '03 montero. Has anyone tried programming one of these years? Could you get Ksstings approach to work?
