Angry Jerking

I have a 93 Eagle Vision TSI with a 3.5 engine. I have this jerking like gonna quit occassionally but not all the time. We have replaced the water pump and timing belt. It never quits, just acts like it is. We are wanting to take a trip but kinda afraid to till get this fixed. I run the codes on it and come up with the EGR. Can someone tell me why it might be doing this hard jerking occassionally? All your help and comments much appreciated.

Also does anyone know where we can get some of the clear tail lights for this same car (kinda like the Altezza Lights)? Love them lights on my Neon and want to see if can find em for this one.

Re: Jerking

Hi razzy, i have a 95 with the 3.5. Mine had a jerk about 2 years ago and it was only at low speeds. I replaced the EGR and it went away. Pricey EGR but it helped out alot. In fact my fuel mileage went up 2-3 MPG.. Good luck with it.
