whats my options

i have a 90 laser im building. can i use 2nd gen pistons and if so what mods is needed to do so. I also need to know if i can use 2nd gen rods the length is the same the only diffrence is the pin displacement and the width will that make a diffrence and if i can then do i use 6bolt main bearings please help me

The best combo in your case is 6 bolt rods and 7 bolt pistons... You will have to get the rods machined though to properly bolt to the pistons. Or it could just be easier to buy a nice set of aftermarket rods and pistons with all the money you would spend in machining the 6 bolt rods...
