oil pressure

today when i started out my driveway and the oil pressure gauge would go from halfway "normal" all the way down then up again... my check engine light also came on right after.. any ideas thanks

Check the oil level on the dipstick to see if you need to add some.

Take it to autozone and have them pull any DTCs out of it. When was the oil changed last? Does the filter have any dings or anything in it?

i just changed the oil about two weeks ago and there are no dings in the filter that i am aware of... i will take it to autozone tomarrow after i get out of school....thanks ryan
