Connection Problems?

Hey, I guess this doesn't fall into the 'Problem Diagnosis' subforum b/c it's not a/b a car. If it does, move it...

Has anyone else had problems getting on AF here lately?
IE7 keeps saying the page isn't available, and I'll be able to load the main Mitsubishi forum, but there'll be no pics, just a bunch of red Xs... I'm wondering is there a problem with my connection or AF?

It does this at home too, so I don't think it's a connection problem, but I still get e-mails a/b responses to subscribe threads when I can't see the forum...

I've been getting a lot saying server too busy. And then I get a couple saying something about not having permission to be here and then gives me the option to log in as admin. Weird, but I don't know. I think AF needs a server upgrade.

I've been having problems lately too. Some pages take forrrrrrrever to load and some won't even load at all, and when they do they're full of red x's.

This is not browser dependent. I get the same bullshit using Firefox.

Actually I use AF a lot from my Cingular 8525 and it's been slow as hell on there lately. It's not even worth trying to get to there.

same (CU500) and Avant browser at the house... Now that I think a/b it...

I just mentioned my browser b/c IE7 can be gay at times...

Mine has been shutting down each time I open a new tab anytime after 3 tabs open. Wow, weird wording. It shuts down if there's 3 tabs open, and I try to open a fourth.

This week AF topped half a million members. So I'm almost certain we are experiencing some server troubles due to such high traffic... Just sit tight and it'll all pan out as it always does.

Point taken... But we didn't start having these server issues until right after that 500,000th person actually became a member. lol

I've still got my money on that as being the source of the server problems.

Me too, I've been have connection problems also, but they usually go away after a few quick clicks on the "refresh" button. Does it last longer for you guys?

I haven't had any problems for the last few days now... But apparently others still are.
