Re: 1999 ford windstar

I don't have one that new but, I was thinking outloud, do they happen to be relay controlled? I don't know. I assume that neither windows operate.

I would ensure that there is power at the switch and then if so see if power gets to the motor(s)

The following is for 2000 and 2001 model but should apply to your 1999 model. The relay relate to the power window is the relay #2 in the fuse box inside of your van. Look on the cover of this box to see the number 2. The identification of this relay is " Accessory Delay relay"

You have mentionned that the fuse is not the problem. Just in case you did not check the right one, the fuse is in the box in the engine compartment (just close to the battery) and the number is 106 and it is a very big 30A fuse, ( color should be pink) Again look in the fuse cover for the number identification. FYI the power mirror is also activate from this circuit.

Re: 1999 ford windstar

no luck after chnaging the relay and the fuse under the hood. one auto parts store said there is 2 30 amp fuses that may need tobe changed in the passenger side fuse box. my manual doesn't show one there? any suggestions
