Lancia 037 Rally
I picked up at a show recently the Lancia 037 Rally "1984 tour de corse rally winner" by Hasegawa 1/24 scale and inside the box was such a lot of Nice extras let me see:-
Oringinal Decals Studio 27 "Rothmans" decals of 1985 rally costa brava. Very nice. Studio 27 Grade up parts all the photo etch also nice. Studio 27 Seat belt set for 1/20 & 1/24 wow. and lastly Renaissance Set photo etch resin spare wheel & tyre, rear veiw mirror in resin and a turned metal aerial base. Blimey. Right the BIG question i have been looking and searching the net for info on the Rothmans 037, yes lots but it's for the martini etc 037's what i would like is some detail shots of the interior or to know if it was the same as the others inside if so i have all the referance i need if not i need to know things like seat color, seatbelts used if the the steering wheel was different etc, etc... Anyone with the answers? please help |

Re: Lancia 037 Rally
WOW! What a score!
![]() I had to buy most of that stuff extra ![]() I can't help you with Rithmans related stuff but if you get stuck for general 037 reference materials, I have a TON and will happily share them with you.

Re: Lancia 037 Rally
I took picts last years at Fiorano's track over a Lancia's meet: only you have to be patient for more (yet ready that on photobucket) , very busy lately.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also you may to be a bit more specific: there are 3 version of Gr.B 037: standard, evo1, evo2: is like ask for a lancer, but not say how model from IV to IX ![]() BTW my pics are from a standard early car well manteined and owned by the original 037 tuner: VoltaSome great refs on the" Lancia Gr. B" book from japanese Gakken, I bought from HLJ for cheap: something like 15-20 bucks.

Re: Lancia 037 Rally
thanks so far for the replies. am i right that it is carbon kevlar on the seats, floor and doors. would that then be the same for the interior of the rothmans lancia 037 at the Rally costa brava 1985.so was the details that was used on the martini 037 in 1984 basically the same as on the rothmans lancia, hopfully it was because i can start to sort out any extra bits i need like the carbon kevlar etc...
thanks for now Danny |

Re: Lancia 037 Rally
It's kevlar you want, not carbon kevlar. The trays in on the cockpit floor are present on some but not all cars- others just have a bare metal floor. But on most of the pics I've seen of 037 interiors, the weave of the fibre components is so subtle that it would be overkill to simulate it with decals. Sure you can see it on the fullsize seatbacks if the camera is 2 feet from the surface- but look at the door on the far side of the cockpit. The texture is barely visible, and decals would overdo it. Paint it with a buff color, spray it with clear gloss and be done- unless fibre decals are really your thing....
