99 4runner antenna issue
A few months back I had a car wash bend my automatic antenna. I kept putting off doing anything about it and recently with some bad wind/weather it snapped at the base. Am I safe to cut the cable or will it short the antenna motor? Will I have to replace the entire assembly including the motor or can I replace just the antenna/cable?

Re: 99 4runner antenna issue
Don't cut anything. You can replace the mast easily. It's ~$30 from the dealer.
