Hey, Mr. Radio DJ, shut the hell up!!

Jeez, whet the hell is it with commercial radio these days?

Can't stations just play some good tunes, without the chatter?

EVERY station seems to have a yappy DJ who thinks he/she is God's gift, and wants to tell EVERYONE about every little burp and fart they have, or worse, tell us all about their silly opinions. It's really, really irritating.

IF I WANTED TALK RADIO, I WOULD LISTEN TO TALK RADIO.

My time in my car is about the only time I have when I can listen to music. I want to enjoy this time WITHOUT LISTENING TO SOME DAMNED FOOL!!

If you run a music station, fire the DJ, get some kid from the Dairy Queen to program some tunes for $8/hr and save some bucks on the DJ salary.

Yeah, I know, I could also get XM or Siruis, but that takes $$, which kind of misses the point.

That's the exact reason why my radio has been turned off for more than a month now. I purchase a CD if I want to listen to something.

Re: Hey, Mr. Radio DJ, shut the hell up!!

there are a few radio stations here that will have something like "1 hour of non stop rock" or 9 in a row or something, but that's usually at night, so it doesn't help me when i'm driving to school. during the rowing season when i'm driving at 4:30 am there's nothing BUT music, but when i finish rowing and head back to school during rush hour, sometimes i've done the 10-15 minute drive without hearing a SINGLE song, and that's when i'm flipping through my channels to find something. it's rediculous sometimes, which is why i use my Mp3 player.

Re: Hey, Mr. Radio DJ, shut the hell up!!

anything that has headphone jack can be used through the transmitters, they take the headphone signal and make it a fm frequency. i have a sandisk mp3 player, and i use different company cars all the time, so that thing makes it easy. for my personal car i have a direct aux in tho.....

Re: Hey, Mr. Radio DJ, shut the hell up!!

Learn something new everyday. I have never really been into systems and radios for the car so using any MP3 player with an adapter would be cool. I did that with the Ipod in the Jetta, and Sirius in the SRT-4 but I didn't know I could do it with any player. I'll check that out. Thanks Chris.

haha, that's for people with money. I use that cassette adapter that plugs into the headphone jack and you stick in your cassette slot.

Re: Hey, Mr. Radio DJ, shut the hell up!!

thats ok too, and u probably dont get much static, but if u dont have a cassette player, u need the trans... the transmitter cost about 30 bucks... in some cars it does have static, and different transmitters are better then others ive found....

Re: Hey, Mr. Radio DJ, shut the hell up!!

i don't get static but the sound quality isn't very good, although that's probably a combination of an 8 year old adapter with a bad cord, and 14 year old speakers.

Re: Hey, Mr. Radio DJ, shut the hell up!!

lol, i have a tape adapter if your interested brody, but im sure shipping is probably as much as it is new....haha it is really hard to get a clear mp3 connection on a non compatable radio, but a good transmitter will work good enough to enjoy the music....
