check engine codes

My 99 tahoe gets 10 mpg and my check engine light or ses is on had it scanned and the following codes came up PO141 (o2 heat bank one sensor 2 or something like that) and PO174 (fuel system to lean bank 2)
I guess im asking what or were would you start to fix problem?

I'd focus the the o2 sensor before the cat on the pass side.

changed it.. is there a way to turn off ses light with out the use of a scanner to clear code?

If you fixed the problem, the light will go out by itself after a few trips. Otherwise, removing battery power for a few minutes can reset the light.

Note that if you remove battery power to reset the light, you may not pass a smog check right away due to the fact that the PCM needs to relearn fuel trims. This usually takes a week or so to pass smog after removing battery power.
