Is it the tranny? HELP !!!
I have a 2000 GTP with around 121,000 miles on it. I have changed all the fluids within factory specs. Just today I started to feel a slip in I think the transmission. It only happens on takeoff when you stop and then start to go. It's kidda like im stopped and then I press on the gas and it's feels like a "slip, slip" and then goes fine. It feels kinda like the ABS when you start in reverse. Like I couple of pulsates or slips. HELP !!!

Re: Is it the tranny? HELP !!!
A launch shudder is a symptom of a bad PCS. Get your car scanned with a scanner that supports GM enhanced parameters.

Re: Is it the tranny? HELP !!!
ok! Got in my car today and it won't move. Drive/Reverse nothing. I do hear some grinding or something coming from the tranny? Think its the tranny. Just want to make sure it's not anything else before i go pulling the trans. Thanks

Re: Is it the tranny? HELP !!!
Ok...similar thing with my son's 95 Grand Prix. Only after it takes off and the engine RPM's go up to about 4000 it clunks loudly and then drops the rpm's back down to a "normal" cruising figure. Is it the PCS thing or is it the transmission? and any idea how much this might set me back?
