My future in U.s.

hey people (expecially terminal velocity's team), when I'm going to LA I'm Buying an auto-repair-tuner (I don't know the exact word, I think it is car garage ) where I and my friend keep our cars and tune and repair the other ones, like Toretto and his team (It isn't a fake!!!!!!).
If this interest TV, DMC 12, and redneck, answer me

I am interested :smoker2: I have been looking at getting such a place myself (at least down in Long Beach). I have a place somewhere else, but it is too far for weekday use. I go there on the weekends.

T.V. & researched garages and warehouses like a summer or two ago. They are pricey, especially for car lifts / hoists. The cheapest we found was $3500 a month Yeah, like I have that kind of disposable cash

Um, the math doesn't quite work like that DMC

200 m2 = 14x14m

14m = 46ft

46x46ft = 2116ft2

For a lift, look into a scissor lift! They go for about $1000 used, for a good one. They don't require a custom foundation like most post lifts do, and they can do a good 6 feet of lift.

My big suggestion is get all you tools and stuff, and be ready to work BEFORE you get a place, trust me on this one

in the port of Long Beach you can get a 1500sq-ft building for about $1300 a month. My mom rents one for her business.

1500sq-ft is plenty for doing crap for cars.

Heck we fit in a 26ft Motor Home thats like 10ft wide. and a 30ft Sail Boat, plus at one time my old 70 Nova was chillin in the Corner.

Plus we park 2 Fullsize Vans inside everynight. Mass room. Not too mention we have a office and a machine shop.

Shoot, dwag. Up here in MO I just built my own damn garage. I guess it's cuz I had the land and I'm a cheap bastard who can't afford to buy one but it's still cool!
It only fits my car, which is all I ever work on anyways and the lift is a few jack stands and a hydraulic lift but I've got all the tools I need and Jackstands don't bother me. I'm set.

Me and a few friends were gonna go in on one of those rent-a-garage things for storage and put our stuff in there but that takes effort to drive out there and there's no room for a fridge or TV so I just built one nearby. hehe..

I'd do the same but every inch of land in So. Cal. is taken up by something already... nothing like Missery. Land costs like $300,000 per quarter acre... if your lucky... otherwise I'd totally build something (like a castle, or the Koresh compound.
