01 GP won't start

I was having some trouble with my key for a while before it finally broke. I wasn't sure what to do so for the time being I installed a switch and push button to run the car which ran the car fr about 3 months. One night I was idleing the car just shut off and would not start anymore. I completely replaced the entire steering column and it still won't start. When I turn the key on i'm not getting any power back to the feul pump and i'm not getting any spark from the coil packs either. I have checked every fuse in the entre car and the are all good. I was wondering maybe if i have to reset the computer or what?

Won't start. No Spark - No Fuel

I just had to replace my steering column and I can't get any spark form the coil packs and n power tot he fuel pump. Also when I turn the key on, after a few seconds the OBC starts flashing "0" on all the options. Has the security locked up the system and how do I reset the computer?

First off, year make, engine and trim level of your car would be helpful.

Re: 01 GP won't start

You're going to have to have the security system reprogrammed to learn the new key/ignition switch, which has to be done at a dealer.

Welcome to AF.

I noticed your two threads/posts had what appears to be similar issues so I have merged the threads together to cut down on possible confusion and redundant answers.
