2000 blazer Driver side power window not working

Luckily my window is up.. Blazer has 41000 miles on it... Could it be the switch. All the other windows work fine.. Driver side not working,, Switch is making a clicking sound or relay sound when i press down on the button... Hoping its not the motor

Re: 2000 blazer Driver side power window not working

Have to pull the door panel off and if you have voltage at the motor connector when the window switch is depressed probably the motor - but check the ground and also give the motor a rap and see if it was just stuck. When you hear a click is it just the switch (?) cause many get deposits on the contact so don't work - press hard 10-20 times (up/down) as a check/clean test.

Re: 2000 blazer Driver side power window not working

Muddog rules!!! Thanks a million. I took the door panel and inside skin off. First thing I did was bang on the window motor with the screw driver... You were right! It was stuck.. ( This is also a common problem with the newer Corvettes too).. If I would have taken it to the shop, they would have surely not tried this and put in a new motor for no reason $500.00 parts and labor!!!! Thanks again Muddog
